I might be going into the ROTC program... but im still deciding.

It's always good to enlist first, get the expierance and then go to college and get your degree.

You won't be so "green" when you go back in as a commisioned officer, believe me. I've heard tons of stories about this.

i have worried about that, I mean being green, but my parents would be so pissed off. then again, if i went to ar and couldnt make good decisions, think how pissed the troop's parent would be if i got killed. Then again, I wouldnt want to be like 30 years old, and go to college, and id forget all of my stuff too.

People who do bootcamp first than goto OCS usually have more respect in the grunt ranks. Because they went through the same training, not just OCS.
