first install half life. Then get the latest pach 4 half life. install that in the same dirictory as half life. Then download DoD, latest ver.Save it on same directory. It should work.

INSTALL HALFLIFE
DOWNLOAD DOD
FOLLOW, yes you heard me.., FOLLOW the procedures
double click the shortcut
