[quote="Captain Bunny":3a2ac]Wasps are the most useless insects. They dont produce anything like honey, they dont pollinate flowers, they occasionally eat harmless hover flies, spiders rsrely eat them because they fight too much when caught in a web, and most spiders are big enough to kill them. for the better part of the summer, they sting things, swarm in houses, sting some more, then come autum they get drunk on rotten fruit, and sting some more and then get too drunk to fly so crawl along carpets and sting some more. then die. and rot. nothing valuable eats them.
They are fecking pointless![/quote:3a2ac]
That reminded me of something cool I saw on the Discovery Channel. There was this one wasp near a beehive and the bees felt threatened so like 50 bees ganged up on the wasp and suffocated him with their body heat. It was damn cool.

mosquitos are quite useless. flys are nasty too, the walk around crap, then they walk on your skin and then leave all that nasty dun fiber on you.

"Remember boys, Flies spread disease, so keep yours closed"

biggrin: I was watching BoB today.

Moths are quite strange creatures. Day time, all that light and not a moth in sight. Come night time though, you turn on a light and a big damn moth comes flapping towards it.

moths are attracted to heat not light. BUt if youve taken any science class you will know that heat usually comes from light.

flies actually eat stuff by puking on it and then eating what is digested by the puke. mosquitos are not useless, but their overpopulation and potential to carry disease is reason aenough to avoid them

I'd say they are all equally valuable:

Mosquitos - Carry DNA and genetics of rare animals, and can provide information for extinct or endangered animals. (Jurassic Park)

Flys - As maggots, help decompose dead organisms.

Bees - Collect pollen from flowers, helping them grow.

Spiders - Kills other insects that can be a nuisance (ants, flys, etc)

But if I had to pick, I'd say mosquitos.
