No, just because it has the same manufacturer, and uses the same caliber round doesn't mean it's the same gun. The Commando and M4 are very diffrent, the M4 is newer, and more advanced than the Commando. And, FYI:

Round or Cartridge: Bullet and Casing togeather.

Bullet: the projectile that actully leaves the gun, located at the end of the round.

Casing: The part of the round that contains the substance ignitied to propel the bullet toward it's target.
