I am not sure if the gov. was killed. I know he was shot.
The bullet went through kennedy, in to the gov.

Governor Connelly survived the shooting and died during the 90's. His wife is the only remaining person in that car who's alive today.
Oh, and on an interesting note, had JFK ducked after being hit in the neck on the 1st shot, he probably would've survived the shooting.
