I made my own card out of some copper wire, a spoon, and some tea leaves. It is a 589.03 MB card, makes everything look so so awesome.

nvidia seems to have most of the fx series bugs ironed out. In many of the new games today and any dx8.0 game, they out perform the ATI cards. But the price tag is very hefty and ATI still provides more bang for your buck on the top of the line cards. The fx5700ultra, is a great mid grade value card that has been refined to get rid of the noise issues it had and for the money it is better than the 9600xt.

But all of this is minor. If you can hold out, the next gen cards arent too far away and all of these will be cheap soon.

I will look for a link to articles on the new cards. They are saying the jump in performance this time will be significant. Kind of like when the ti4600 and the 9700pro came out.

Best bet is too wait till this new thing comes out then buy the 1st or 2nd generation before it...save tons of cash and no games really out there can push them.

Tea leaves? You b00n. Everyone knows bay leaves run a lot cooler and can give you an extra 150FPS.

I cant see a 9800pro a waste of money. No matter what computer parts you buy they will be obsolete in the near future.
