eh, i'd have to disagree there. how can you measure talent? there are different types of talent for music. speed, technical ability, melody, uniqueness. its hard to measure it, but the fact that they are talented is undeniable.

Static and Tyst I'm sure you don't listen to music and recognize odd time signatures, flatted fifths, minor and major harmonies, things like that. DT does vocal-keyboard-guitar harmonies sometimes up to six different notes on top of odd time signatures oOo: . Also, Mike Portnoy is considered to be one of the best drummers who ever lived, up with John Bonham and Neil Pert.
