well quit being lazy and go in there and erase the outer glow
Don't know how I could do that and not make it look like crap...that logo and the background along with the Zeus face are all one image. Besides...it doesn't bother me any I think it looks alright.

Well, then go in and perfectly lasso the text out, make it a new layer, erase the outer glow. Or just clone it out completly.
