I was about to say the same thing. Half of the people here need ot go back to elementary school and learn to fucking read. Id have done it in a heart beat. Takes less time to fix, its cheaper, and get the guy a better computer. granted its the chicken shit way out of fixing something its a good idea.

It doesn't matter if he didn't pay for it, he deserves it, it'll be better in the long run, or any of that shit.

The guy brought the computer in to have a service done to it. No matter what it is. If it takes 6 months for it to happen, fine. If you don't want to do that, say I can't do that or tell your boss to get someone else to do it.

You have no right whatsoever to do what you did.

Everyone may come out a winner, but does that make it right?

This may just be peanuts that we're talking about here, but it amounts to other larger things.

The very fact that you have to question it tells everyone that it's wrong. Otherwise, you wouldn't have made a topic about it.

Nice to see how many honest people we have here. You'd think honesty has gone out of style reading this thread.

Seems to me ninty the boss is trying to cheap out the poor old guy with a fucking p2 system. Come on advertisement in a local paper here (to buy an add) costs 200 a month, this guy should be getting alot more for his bargain. I feel as if the boss is tryng to pull one here, where are you at I ask ? If the thing was such a POS in the first place (any old Windows 95/p2 system would be. Don't give me a lecture on crap like that. I find it to be the lesser evil more then anything.

watta retard.... if i took my computer to a shop for the second time - because some retard couldnt be bothered fixing it in the first time - i'd be pissed

He had every right to come in and make you fix the mess you made.. because you caused it the first time... just because he was old and had a crappy computer (free or paid for) doesnt give you the right to zapp it because again you couldnt be bothered to fix it./ your job was on the line.

I really hope you get sacked... you dont deserve the job.

You guys gotta look at it from the computer's point of view. If I were an old and obsolete computer with fuckled wiring, acute Alzeimers and was operated by an old man who doesn't even know how to smell a scam; I'd wanna be put down too.

The computer is the one that died here, and you pug-pullers have not shown it any kind of respect. Computers are people too. Just because they may not be fleshy; it doesn't mean they're inferior to us. You fuckers ought to show some respect.

RIP, computer with no name.

if a computer is a person - does it give you the right to eliminate the just because they are old and slightly battered?

just because the computer was not top of the range - it was probalby perfect for the old mans usage... using word, connecting to the internet etc.

Hey, I never pulled the plug. I just suggested what the computer must've been feeling at the time.

just because the computer was not top of the range - it was probalby perfect for the old mans usage... using word, connecting to the internet etc.

Aye, that might've been true, some inconsiderate soul pulled this computer out of retirement and gave it to this old salt. How disrespectful.
