If you are going to buy a sound card, you might as well go high end. Get a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS for $70(good for games, okay for music) or a M-Audio Revolution 7.1 for $80(good for music, okay for games).
I decided not to buy a sound card because, I don't listen music on my PC,Just for gaming with a headphone.

well bro, if you want to game you want a good sound card. just because you wont listen to music or watch movies doesnt mean you dont need a good sound card, you need a good sound card for gaming if you want to have good sound and be able to hear left/right sounds while playing.

most onboard sound is fine, and "stereo" is nothing new... rofl

you cant have a good gaming experiane with a shit sound card. ill take my sound card over any onboard sound anyday.

no difference at all, and im anal about sound quality

well, i can tell the difference between this sound card (audigy 2 zs) and my audigy gamer 10 times over.
