depends, burning a VCD will convert the AVI to MPEG and then burn it (sometimes causing size change)

if your dvd player plays Divx/AVi movies then try a data cd

Nero supports that as far as i know, if u wanna burn a video cd it'll automatically change the file type and size to fit on the disc.

I think anyway, been ages since i done it.

you can overburn with nero. so , you can fit a vcd > 700 mg on a 700mg cd.

this is what you wanna look for :

[img]http://www.daplayazclub.com/uploads/nero_1.jpg[/img]

in nero burning rom (not express) goto file / preferences / expert features tab. ***(this is wrong. you wanna click what is clicked in the pic) enable dvd/ cd over burning. when you go to burn it will ask you if you wanna enable overburn or something like that ... say si.

... whats the file type?
