He died doing his job. I'm proud of all of our troops. Sure, it is probably safe to assume that a percentage of the troops do not believe in what we are doing there, but intimating that his death was for a bullshit cause diminishes his service to the country and sucks for the moral of the troops still fighting. Sure, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and this is just the opinion of this asshole.
I see it as the opposite, a beacon and future reminder of the price of war, for which we so rarely understand or comprehend. Thats how I see it buddy. Lest we forget ?

I understand and even respect the opposing viewpoint. However when the thread was started to honor someone who died in service of my country, this he died for nothing attitude is a little inflammatory. You seem like you've got a few brain cells left, surely you can understand the political jabs do nothing to pay tribute to this individual. eek:

I don't see it as a political jab. You only see that if you stereotype members of this forum.

oOo: First of all I believe you might mean "condemn" and you are missing the point. Oh, by the way, you lose all credibility in my book making an asinine comparison such as this.

You don't see it as a political jab because your head is so far up your ass. As far as your second comment, try a coherent thought for a change. rolleyes:

The entire point is, this man shouldn't be dead and there is only one man to blame.
