Sorry - but better to err on the side of caution. . .was arrest a bit much, maybe. But NOONE here would be saying that if he DID go hogwild at his school - EVERYONE here would be saying "wtf why didnt they catch him in time. . .shoulda been on his ass. . .etc. etc." -
Folks seem to be sitting back going "fucking rednecks - its just writing. . ." - only takes ONE time folks for people to start bitching about "where was law enforcement" - "where were the parents". . .
No-Win situation here. . so fuck it - arrest the anti-social shit.

Perhaps. . .but if you - as a parent - sit back and say "boys will be boys" - what about what happens next. . .
What pisses me off is that we as a society are in literally a no-win situation. . .Kleibold and Harris's parents no doubt thought the same thing "boys will be boys" - and look at what happened. . .but had they intervened (rightfully see we now see) - they would have been overbearing parents, neo-conservative tradionalists completely out of touch and step with youth, and totally overreacting. . .
We cant win. People whine about "Big Brother" and the "Orwellian" threat of "Bush Inc." - but what the hell is the alternative? I see an endless line of folks waiting to critique, but NOONE willing to step up and offer a solution.

If it were a story about shooting kids/planting bombs etc, something actually realistic, then there would be an issue if this kid wasn't caught out. But fuck, zombie stories?
What's he going to do? Defy the laws of science and make the dead walk the earth to go after his school mates....?
"Oh shit we should have seen this coming." - I don't think you'll get any of that.

He didnt mention zombies though. . .
And his line about it being a school project is bunk - no English teacher or teacher at all would co-sign on that excuse. . .
Im not saying im right. . .but I am saying "what the hell if. . ." -

We know the majority of old people aren't the smartest (poor fluid intelligence)
so when they read something like this, can you really expect them to interpret
properly ? I would like to see this paper before making a decision as to whether
or not they did the right thing...
