I'd only get another wireless mouse if its battery-less (..it's reciever connects to a plug in the wall, and that's what powers it, if you put the mouse itself in to recharge every now and then).

[quote="Mr_Gl@ss":990cf]using the logitech MX 310 (I'm a lefty.... all you damn righties and your spiffy mice) currently and like it. I use the logitech software to set the buttons to keystrokes then tweak my games to those keys.

I'll consider it. My dad'll think Im nuts for buying a $60 dollar mouse...I'll try to eBay one, maybe.
Im you're average CoD player, sometimes one of the top scorers, sometimes not, as I usually stock up on a Thompson or PPSH and just run around the map, spraying at everything that moves. I dont need anything nuts, I truthfully dont even know what dpi means, or any of this techie-speak, just that its pretty obvious the higher the number goes, the more precision you'll get, and..the more kills. But god..$60... ed:

Razor mice blow. They are cheapest pieces of shit I've ever owned.
I've broken 4 Diamondbacks from general use in less than 3 months. Not to mention how ungodly uncomfortable they are. Unless you have a baby hand, you'll find it too skinny/small.
Save your money and get an MX500 or MX510. MX518 should be out soon, it also has 1600dpi like the Diamondback.

the 518 is out already....
my friend just got the 518 from logitech.com and he is loving it....
no lag in games whatso ever....though the mx 510 is extremely good too but i hear its not 100 percent for gaming so thats why they made the 518 for just games... and all that fun stuff rock:
yada yada yada

Yeah, I'm gonna go walk over to CompUSA today and check them out. I was looking at the Razers, and yeah, they do seem pretty small (judging from pics), and I have my dads hands, which are just giant claws.
518 sounds good..10 bucks less than Diamondback, more buttons, and more comfort, plus, it too has 1,600dpi which, although I have no clue what it means, sounds awesome.

Drags? Truthfully, does dpi REALLY matter for gaming? I mean, sure, for Photoshop, where you need absolute precision it does, but for shooters, its not hard to nail a head...I just want to do it faster.
