i read the entire script for LOTD. They don't really use weapons in a way you'd think. they kinda get a gun shoved in one's hand and he just pulls the trigger and aims in a general direction. if thats the way he will do it in the movie, the zombie will have a better chance of hitting his comrades than hitting the humans.

Looks like it'll be one of the goriest movies in recent years.
It's an idea first seen in Day Of The Dead...If you haven't seen it yet, or can't remember that part in it (The scientist's "pet" zombie 'Bub') then you gotta check it out before going to L.o.t.d, when it comes out.

I like the ideas that are brought foward about the possibilities of zombies learning things....It will be interesting to see how Romero picks up from the last film (Day.o.t.d) and how, he re-introduces the guns/thinking part.
Of course I've seen it. That doesn't mean it still wasn't corny as hell in Day.
k, lol - I see, my bad.... although I always thought it was an interesting idea personally...

nvm - it looks hot, here goes a bunch of sleepless nights.

Man with all these movies you wonder if something like that were to happen what would you do ...

I really don't know what i would do ... i would use ideas that worked on other zombie movies and use it.

Like -
*Get as many (unbitten, unscar, healthy, familiar and hot and strong) people in a
*mall
*near a gun shop
*loot as many places on the way to the mall
*stay in mall as long as possible
*if posible triple fence the area like a jail or just get everyone to go to a jail
*periodical checks on the health of people .. first signs of becoming a zombie and you are out.
*perhaps head to high- ground like a mountain, building or an island?
*have the girl from Resident Evil with us
-probably some more stuff but thats all i got

Nah, not in any of the romero movies do they explain. It's better that way, because then you don't have to go along believeing some half-assed hokey scientific idea. This way it could be anything - leaving it up to the imagination.

Probably a lot, there were like 3 or 4 Return Of The Living Dead ones, and various other Undead, Zombie, type movies - and an indeterminable amount of other B grade zombie movies....But this is George Romero, he invented the genre....It looks like it's gonna be good - His style of zombie movies has been the best in my opinion - I didn't like the return of the living dead zombies.....Although the gore in some of those movies was pretty savage...
