[quote:35280]Just another Bush wannabe.[/quote:35280]

When has Bush "lashed out" at gays?

[quote:35280]Does that make any sense - [/quote:35280]

To people composed of some common sense - yes.

There were MILLIONS of Northern Whites who wouldnt invite an african into their home - BUT respected their right to be a free-man. This is no paradox. Just because a person disapproves of what someone does socially - does not mean they FEAR/HATE that person - and only someone ignorant or completely insular in their understanding of "the world" would think so.

I said he was a Bush wannabe by using God, family values, and misplaced words (liberty, freedom, etc) as tools of their image. Yes, family values, morals, and falling back on the values our forfathers brought such as liberty make a nation great, but that is an idealist's point of view.

As a citizen of voting age that lives in Pennsylvania I can honestly say I didn't vote for him, my parents, my friends, my co-workers didn't vote for this man. Do know who did? Idealists and the elderly. Pennsylvania is the 2nd oldest state (highest average age per capita). The elderly vote in massive numbers and they vote for all elections (not just presidential). Seeing a young man that bestows family values (even though proven wrong in previous articles posted) this man would seem like a crusader to Pennsylvania. Think what you will ED! but I don't agree with this mans views.

I also would not invite black man into my house; as I wouldn't invite any stranger into my house.

(Plus i have 2 sisters that i would keep far, far away from you hellfire: )

I know bullit that you didn't make that definition up. But how many times do we have to state this? Anti-gay does not equal homophobia.
WTF ? Does that make any sense ? oOo: I am sorry but any hate for homophobia is in part by a fear of it. (Fear = Driving Force OF Hate) THUS making Anti-Gay People homophobic. PERIOD.[/quote:30ad9]

I HATE my computer... I HATE my sister, but does that mean I'm afraid of it/her?

No.

You said fear = driving force of hate, and then you proceeded to say all people who are against homosexuality are homophobic.

So what you're saying is: If you hate homosexuality, you are afraid of homosexuality. So according to your logic; if I hate my sister, I should be afraid of her as well...

You didn't say fear = driving force of hating gays... you said fear was the driving force of hate in general. So, according to what YOU said, it should work in any way... whether it be "sibling rivalry", or whatever. And I'm not comparing anything by the way - I'm just pointing out the flaws in your logic.

(BTW - I dont hate my sister or computer... those were just bad examples)...

looo, not saying that directly towards one individual. It just seems many people say they know all about a subject but they have no idea. Having a gay friend means nothing when compared to actually being gay.

why the hell are you telling me how I personally feel about something? There really isn't one person that I hate...not even anyone back in highschool days. Hate is a powerful word. Sure, I may dislike some people, but hate is not a word that I plan on using any time soon.
