Everyone's going nuts. They've evacuated Swansea Uni campus, and they supposedly found a device on a bus in Coventry. oOo:

Slightly o/t...

I've often read theories that George W.Bush wears an earpiece when he's doing press conferences*. About an hour ago I watched Tony Blair give a press briefing and I'll be damned if he wasn't being fed the lines he was saying; the way he paused whilst talking, the way his eyes moved etc, it was very strange.

* There's video evidence to back this up before anyone accuses me of bashing him for no reason.

Think its safe to say these bombings seemed to be more of a warning than anything, considering what they did with 9/11 they obviously could have done a ton more damage if they had wanted to.

But why give a "warning"...? If it really was the "Secret Organisation al Qaeda in Europe" ( oOo: ) surely you would do something big straight off the bat, kill lots of infidels and all that shit. Now the authorities are going to be on a heightened state of alert, the chances of getting caught are greater.

I'm wearing my "I'm Mr.Suspicious" hat today....

Well one of the main point of terrorism is exactly that, to terrororise people. Incidents like this can have as big of an effect on people as a larger bomb. Its more of a message, them saying "we can hit you if we want to". London has like 7 million people in it, whoever done this can just disappear as a face in the crowd very easily.

BBC news just now "irish terrorism is unlikely" oOo: ya think?

Apparently, Scotland Yard had prior warning of an attack.

I have been watching the BBC all mourning. I must say, for an organized attack it really was not as BIG as I would have expected. Normally these organized attacks do much more damage and cause more casualties. This still sucks. It brings back many memories of 9/11 seeing all the police cars flying trough the streets, debris everywhere. The worst I saw was the bombing just in front of the medical association building. Their is blood splattered all over the front of the building from a bomb they went off on the second level of a bus, all thats left is the holding bars on the top of the bus.

maybe the fact that the G8 summit opens today might have something todo with it, especially playing with the high feelings that london won the olympic bid yesterday so it makes even a larger impact.

scum, they will be found though and brought to justice.
