Evil Bastards.
Israel's defense minister warned Tuesday the incoming Hamas prime minister would be assassinated
if the Islamic militant group resumes attacks

...just thought I'd point to that rather important little detail. eek: sleeping:

well if hamas is the new leader of the palestinians, isnt any attack perpetrated by them an act of agression by one country on another? sounds like a legitimate excuse for israel to roll tanks in.

I think the palestinian attacks will continue even if hamas stop all the actions of their militias,
just as hamas terrorists have hampered the already corrupt fatah party from any chance of effective
rule, just watch now as the pissed-off by the elections fatah militia become the terrorists and try to
make sure hamas fails and Israel is continuously provoked. Or perhaps the group Palestinian Islamic Jihad
might pretend to be fatah attackers disguised in hamas colours just to keep themselves busy.

erm, wasn't what Sharon was trying to achieve just prior to his stroke the opposite of "rolling the tanks in"?
..even as attacks from various palestinian groups continued.

The Israelis are not as predictable as the palestinian militias or certain gf1 members appear to be.

Why do we love Israel so much?

They're no better than the people they are against.

I say let them both destroy each other.

Hamas wasn't the elected representative of Palestine at that point.

yes, I know it's different now and it's going to be hard for the Israelis to take any crap
from a group whose agenda before the elections was to wipe them off the face of the earth.

It's up to hamas now to show if they're serious about peace, if they will even recognise Israels right to exist,
and if they can rein in all the palestinian groups who may not agree with them as they begin to negotiate.

And reverese-engineered it. It's better than ours now. If their Air Force was 3/4 what ours is now, they would have the greatest air power the world has ever seen.
