Depends on the person for contacts, I can leave mine in for literally months at a time without them ever bothering me. Sometimes they are a little dry when I first wake up, but after 5 minutes they are back to normal. For me they are MUCH easier than glasses and are about the same price for how long glasses have lasted me in the past.

I rubbed my eye in the bathroom and it fell out, never saw it again. It was a monthly lense too, so it still had like 2 weeks left. cry:

The problem with toric lenses and astigmatism is that the moment either lense rotates, your correction goes out the window. That, and they're expensive as fuck...

I was paying £17 a month for a toric and a normal lense. Not too bad really.

i have both, i use my glasses on weekends when im louging around the house and when i get home from work, cause if i take a nap, i hate getting up to take off my lens. i wear my lenses when i go out, to school and work. glasses are just convenient to have cause you can just slip them off and sleep.

whats the difference between soft, and hard lenses(does one of em help you see any better than the other? More comfortable?) .Also, i called lens crafters and they refuse to quote prices so can you guys give me an idea of how much contacts cost on average?

most are soft these days, they are much more comfortable and breathe better.
6 pairs run me about $80, though I've been getting them through my doctor, I'm sure you can find them cheaper at like 1800contact.com
