mars volta fucking sucks. they opened up for SOAD when I went.

the mars volta is amazing. possibly the most unique band ever. plus i loved At The Drive-In. SOAD sucks. they should be opening up for mars volta, not the other way around.

They are good but i wouldnt go that far, seeing as they are HEAVILY influenced by the likes of Rush, King Crimson, Yes ETC... they are pretty unique in this day and age but they borrow alot from the prog acts of the 70's..
