ive been spoken to directly ...

teaching "children" to not value life ( any life ) is probably not such a good idea. most kids can barely handle social life without resorting to violence.

why waste time on a bill like this when there are probably tons of other areas that would better benifit youth.[/quote:73bc2]

actually these hunter safety classes teach kids that. You hunt for the food, not as a sport. It is killing to provide food for a family, not just to whack an animal

killing to just kill isnt beneficial.

and yes overpopulation happens, even with animals. with overpopulation comes malnutrion and disease.

Look at some 3rd world countries that are overpopulated. And no we don't hunt them because a human life will always be more valued than an animal's

.

you are wrong, you have the "Starbucks" attitude. I want my kids to know the circle of life. Death is part of life. Too many kids dont know that. I will teach my kids the way I want to and I do believe they will be an asset to society when I get done with them. You are sadly mistaken, i am teaching life and with that comes death. We eat animals, we kill animals, we butcher animals. If you are trying to equate animals with humans then there is no sense going any further because you are a lost cause anyway.

I feel what I call the "Starbucks" attitude is from too many single parent houses and no father figures around so we get all these pansy assed punks that dont know shit. I have said this numerous times, if you want to hunt at the grocery store then so be it but I feel a kid can learn alot form spending time with family hunting and fishing. There is more to life than Starbucks and internet porn

death IS part of life , sure ... but must they learn of it by taking life? i mean cmon , that just sounds wrong , not even mentioning it BEING wrong.

i dont equate human life with animal life... imo animal life is more valuable since its regaurded as being less than human life.

sry but hunting doesnt make anyone a tough guy. jesus.

lol @ starbucks ... drinking coffee in no way has anything to do with my ideas about animals. all my feelings come from having / loving my pets.
