It's not your beliefs that bother me, it's your ignorance.

Why is his ignorance bothering you. Are you his gay son that just came out of the closet? I'm pretty sure c312 doesn't treat a gay person any differently than a straight person.

Just because I disagree with smoking doesn't mean I am going to act like an ass to every smoker I see. Just because I see a pregnant 17 year old girl doesn't mean I'm going to spit on her and call her names. Just because I see a guy wearing a KKK uniform doesn't mean I'm going to try to start a riot in the street and throw stones at that person. You can totally respect a person without agreeing with what they do.

How do you not agree with someones sexual prefrence? It's like saying "Well, I don't like Blacks becuase I don't support having black skin."

If you want to put it in a dumb way, it would be more like, "Well, I don't agree with having black skin, but I still respect them."

It's a religious thing, and if you can't respect that, you need to rethink who is the "ignorant" one.

Just because it's a "religious thing" doesn't make it right.

Why would someone choose to be gay? And besides if you believe in destiny and that our lives have been pre-planned by God, how can you blame a gay person for being gay?

The Bible doesn't say anything like that, so I'm not sure where you got that idea. I beleive our lives aren't pre-planned by God, he knows what will happen, but he doesn't change or determine any of it.

you really have no idea what you're talking about. That's like puritan stuff right there.

Catholics believe we all have a choice in life. A lot of it stems back from Adam and Eve. They chose to sin...God doesn't prevent us from sinning. He's there to forgive us later when we're truely sorry. That's a Catholic thing.

It's called "free will" and it's a major part of Christianity.

So in your mind there's not even the slightest possibility that homosexually is something you're born with?

Also, how old do you believe the world is? And is the jury still out on evolution?

Edit: I really would like to know your answers to these questions.
