I was a sophmore in highschool sitting in Math class. The principal came on over the loud speakers and said that a plane had crashed into the WTC. I thought she meant a little cessna so I thought very little of it other than sucks for the pilot. Then I went to the library and saw the tv's playing the crashs over and over again. I was watching when the towers collapsed.

i was in 10th grade spanish class, i remember within like a week after it happend the like 5 muslim kids that went to my school transfered.

I remember my sister woke me up and told me what had happened, but it did not really occur to me what was going on. I was thinking that it was some small prop plane and kinda shrugged it off. I went to school and was in the library when I saw everyone in there watching it all on tv.

I remember waking up quite early at like 6:30am, and heading upstairs and my dad comes out of his room and is like "Did you hear whats happening in new york?? Somebodies flown some planes into the world trade center," I just had all these questions about the planes etc trying to figure out what the hell it was about.
I was sick, so I didn't go into school and watched it all at home by myself. I saw the towers collapse but I missed seeing both the planes crash into it, although of course I saw it because they played it like 324839484 times that day.

Came home early from school, turned on the telly and saw the news. Got me mum to watch, we didnt believe it at first.

Was in english class and then saw it on the TV. A few of my friends' parents/neighbors worked in the towers and their faces were just white. Our class schedules went on though. Got to lunch and all you could hear is, "I heard those damn towel heads did it. Imma just gonna go down there and shoot them up all rambo style ahaha" Kinda weird how the average joe kid didn't realize the severity of it.

I won't watch any of the stuff on TV today. I just can't do it.

Honestly, I remember everything as vivid as possible. I was in school, in bio class. Naturally I was asleep when I hear Mr McNerney, the principal, come over the intercom and tell us about the attacks. Next thing you know, I was wide awake and me and this kid Joe were trying to get the tv to work. Part of me couldn't believe it, the other half was angry/sad. I got home to my mom being in a panic thinking my cousins worked right around there, but thankfully they didn't.
