Seagate and WD are both great.
I prefer Seagate because they are bit quieter under full load.

IGN - 8.2

EuroGamer - 8/10
not too shabby. main complaint seems to be a few interface niggles which can surely be fixed in a patch or 2.

The diehard fans have more than a few complaints, main one being co-op got screwed over and the features that made the game unique got striped out of it. This thing was meant to release around the same time as halflife 2 and in the 2 years since that they did nothing but cut features instwed of add them.
Back then the game was meant to be finished but they were granted mroe time to fix some bugs, in other words they didn't want to get bent over and get fucked by half life 2 sales. May 2005 was the release date and since that the games just been downgraded more and more, anything that made the game special has long since been removed. annoy:

everyone knows its not the game that was initially promised and thats been made public for years now. Some of the die-hard fans need to get a grip on real life for a second and just enjoy what they can from whats now still a decent game.
You can't please everyone...especially die-hard fans who you can NEVER please.
People take games far too seriously sometimes rolleyes:
I just play to have fun, be scared, be entertained....

Problem is what makes this game ANY different from every other run and gun shooter out there now? Absoloutely nothing. People may still buy it for the name but to me its not worthwhile anymore. It was at one time something unique, now its just a face in a crowd of clones.
Theres far too much of this these days, developers promising this and that and one by one the promised things get removed or changed or moidified in some way, game devs just seem to love fucking people over by sucking them in with hype then delivering nothing.

I suppose thats the way society is though I guess when it comes to selling products. Hype is such a vital tool in sucking people in and building up their hopes...
Thats why I've always rewarded dedication and original approaches to games where the publishers are as honest as possible.
Goin off-topic, stumbled upon this video, not sure if its new but I've not seen the footage elsewhere of Crysis. its named 2007 so it can't be too old.
Initial part of the vid we've seen but the 2nd half has some impressive visuals and physics http://www.gametrailers.com/umwatcher.php?id=48761
This, imo, is going to set the new standard for FPS games, can't wait to play although I realise it will bring my current rig to its knees... annoy:

maybe i should sell my ati and buy a better one, know of the best agp card thats cheap. ive been with ati last few years now, maybe a shift back to nvidia is in order...tho ati cards you seem to get more value for money, they last longer imo
