Might be picking it up tomorrow, only real complaint ive seen is about the cutscenes being long and annoying.

aight, so i finally found the MGS4 bundle online. However, I never have played any of the MGS games. Since I've never played, do you recommend me keeping the game, since it got a 10/10 from IGN, or should I resell it as it is probably a niche game.

Its a stealth based game but ive seen people say theyre playing it like a regular shooter and having fun.

dude buy it play it love it. the game sums up everythign from metal gear on NES to MGS4 like the dude from ign said it is one of the greatest games ever made. this with out a doubt in my mind totally deserves a 10. i dont see how ign gave gta4 a 10 but thats for another day.

GTA 4 seems to have gotton a load of backlash from what ive seen on a load of gaming forums. Initially people were on the hype bandwagon agreeing with the reviews, then after 3 or 4 days people were just asking "is that it"?

Even saints row 2 is taking the piss out of gta 4:

GTA 4 would have sold regardless, but i think after this one people will be eyeing up the next one more carefully before jumping on rockstars cock.

my brother just sold his wii and all his games for some extra cash towards this. He got like $200 in gift cards and basically has the PS3 and MGS for free. I doubt he'll sleep more than 4 hours a night until the game has been beaten. ha

you guys think MGS4 is better than GTA4? I've yet to play either, and regardless I'm buying GTA4, but now its just a matter of should I keep MGS4 just because its a good game, rather than sell it to buy a game I would usually buy anyways (NCAA, etc.)

yeah isnt it sweet watching snake smoke 4 1/2 butts. to comment on an earlier post the cut scenes arent annoying. they tell the story that is outstanding. saints row two kinda looks like shit the first one was decent at best. there were too many bugs to count.

yeah, shame they sold out in seconds online... and the nearest walmart near me is 40 miles away.

the deal was that you get $100 gift card with any blu-ray player. PS3 is a blu-ray player, thus you get the 80GB PS3 with MGS4 for $500 along with a free $100 gift card. Best buy has a similar deal.
