Platoon you might want to think about correcting your quote "scumback" should be "scumbag".

If you going to use the Kar98 rifle...might as well put the scope on it as well.

Not true, CKR is horrible in that regard, with CKR you can shoot a guy with either rifle in upper torso front or back and they wont die!

CPR is much better as it will usually realisticlally kill with 1 shot with rifle or close to it.

I like the Garand better for close combat. Shot the guy in the stomach then shoot him in the head. Bing-Bang!

Wouldn't it be cool if they added in guns jamming or something like that?
Actually, maybe not. That would kind of screw up gameplay.

garand for me, even though i think it should be a little stronger. id love to play a game of mohaa where there are predominantly more people using rifles and smgs then anything else,
instead of a bunch of bazookas and snipers :/

my only wish is that EA will release with their next patch special weapons limitations based on ratio! way more intense battles would ensue!

Mauser 98K is my weapon of choice. The slow fire rate discourages newbs from going trigger-happy, and i like it cuz when aiming at someone im sure i'll only shoot once, and if its a kill shot, it minimizes chances of detection :P

when on axis I usually use the mauser w/o scope. the satisfaction from taking someone down with such a diff weapon is worth it. the hard thing about it is, even though MOH is less run and gun than most mp games, its still more so than real war. and the mauser is a sit and shoot over a wall weapon. you cant run around and shoot someone with a mauser. I played on a server with a guy the other night who absolutely owned everyone with the mauser. now thats talent.

StG is a great weapon but doesnt really take much talent. but I prefer that to a bunch of snipers or rocket whores

What server did you see that guy in?

When I Play Axis, I use the Mauser 4/5 times i play , and I own. If u think im bullshiting, hit me up sometime,we can play.

I cant wait till they regulate weapons... like 1 sniper per team depending on ratios...*drools*...no more gangs of soldiers running around with Stg44s

people that use the sniper's rifle aren't necesarily just looking for the "easy way out". In some situations, it can be... but that makes it all the more "challenging" for you, now doesn't it? I'm sorry if you can't outmanuver someone who is sniping... it doesn't mean that anyone who uses a sniper's rifle sucks though.

Mauser in hands of experienced user is fine for combat against certain classes of soldier, esp. newbie shotgunners
