Of course it's not cheating, it's a deliberate function of the game. Adding custom skins is cheating, though.
I don't see the confusion.

[quote="Wolf-Man":6a942]I suppose it all depends on your intent, really.[/quote:6a942]
I use force models on open server. I think used right they are not a cheat. Its the only way i ever get to see my black hawk down ranger skins that someone made. Thats only allies though. I put the Axis in wermachte soldier. It gives good coverage on on most maps. And the ranger skins is frigin hard to see on maps like southern france. Overall i thnk i'm playing fair seeing how i dont dedicate myself to one team, and the models i have forced are good cammo.
Its only a cheat if your using those lame bright skins that mean your enemy cant hide.

Nope...not a cheat...
If its a gameplay option (not in the console) than how can it be called a cheat???
BTW: I have played with it on and off......havent noticed a diff in my score.....either you sux or you rox in a game...complaining bout cheats doesnt get ya anywhere....try practice...

Agreed
And think about it, why doesn't Jolt & Barrysworld and in real wars no-one allows force models ?
Ever thought of that WHY ?
I did ...

I use Force Models all the time, but I never use any brightly coloured skins. The only reason I use the feature is because I see a significant difference in my FPS. The more skins my machine has to process, the lower my FPS.
So, I chose option 2. It's only a cheap tactic when using skins like the Ronald McDonald one. That's just retarded. Anyone who knows me in the game knows that I'm pretty big on realism and fair play.
To call me a cheater is ludicrous.

I had an html class once and there's a lot of writing on a whiteboard. Class turns up and after a while a guy tells me he's colourblind to blue. My luck, the only damned markers in the building were all blue. Poor bastard.

you're hat severely colorblind/? hahah
anyway,... being colorblid to blue doesnt mean you cant see it, it just means that its a different color to them than the "normal" perception of it.

Yeah but just with the lighting in the room, and the board and so on, he said it showed up as a kind of very light grey on white.
I dunno, just saying what he said. Luckily he had a mate who could read him all the shit I had to write.
