Just when you thought Lost was in a bit of a lull.

<Champ Kind> WHAMMMY! </Champ Kind>

That was one great hour of TV.

[quote:0b8fb]HONOLULU — "Lost" actress Michelle Rodriguez left jail Friday after serving a sentence for drunken driving.

Rodriguez was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $500 after she pleaded guilty Tuesday. She entered the Oahu Community Correctional Center later that day.

Rodriguez, who was credited for one day served because of time spent in custody after her arrest last year, was released after serving about 65 hours.

OCCC Warden Nolan Espinda said inmates receive full credit for any portion of a day served.

It was an uneventful stay for Rodriguez, who lived in a dorm with 60 other female inmates, Espinda said. She could read and watch TV, and she had to keep her area clean, he said.

No media were present when Rodriguez was released.

Rodriguez, 27, who portrays police officer Ana Lucia on the ABC drama, chose the jail time and fine rather than perform 240 hours of community service.

She and fellow "Lost" cast member Cynthia Watros were both charged with drunken driving after they were pulled over Dec. 1 in separate cars within 15 minutes of each other.

Watros, who plays Libby, pleaded guilty to drunken driving in January and was fined $312, ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and 14 hours of counseling. She also had her license suspended for 90 days.

Rodriguez's troubles with the law aren't over. She's serving three years probation after pleading no contest in 2004 in Los Angeles to three traffic violations, including drunken driving.[/quote:0b8fb]

That was the first thing I thought of. These two dolts fucked up and they had to be written out of the show.

Hurley's gonna be a scattered man...a huge, goofy shattered man.

I just read the paragraph on the ABC site that gives a brief outline of what next week's episode's about. A very subtle clue was given aaaaaaaaages ago that might relate to two of our Losties over the coming episodes; I'll put it in wee text.....

"Enkidu's friend". Google "Gilgamesh"

"Gilgamesh" is one of the answers in John Locke's crossword in the Lost episode Collision

Thanks Wikipedia!

Ya.

Read "The Epic of Gilgamesh" and it'll make more sense.

I'm thinking...

Possibly Locke = Gilgamesh, Eko = Enkidu. Next week they're going off to find what is at the "?" on the map, it could be considered a "great adventure", like in The Epic of Gilgamesh. There's also the parallel of Gilgamesh dreaming of a falling meteorite, Locke "dreaming" of a falling plane, and a few other similarities.

as far as the jail time goes I think I would have done that too. 240 hours of community service would take forever.

BTT

I dont think Libby is dead. the shots didnt hit her they hit whatever she was carrying

here is what TV giude says about next week:

"?"
Mr. Eko seeks Locke's help in finding a secret location he believes holds the key to the island's mysteries; Jack and the other survivors grapple with the horrific situation in the hatch.

Well, one of the bullets got her right in the belly, so it isn't looking good for her. It'd be shit if they killed her because we'll never get to see what would have happened when Hurley remembered that she's a fellow fruitcake.

she was carrying blankets though...

Rodriguez could have done comm service but decided to go to jail for a few days and be on probation instead....what a lazy person. I would have done the comm. serv, but then again, she (as an actress) doesn't really need to make sure her record is clean...

Regarding Libby. We haven't had a Libby flashback yet (other than the short one at the end of the last Hurley episode) so maybe she will survive. calmdown:
