especially seeing as we are the largest plague to the planet.
do you notice we do sooo much to try to save old and deathly ill people? they are going to die anyways! the amount of money spent on medical research to find out they still dont have a cure for all thes deseases could and should be put into america's lacking education system.
and look at all the safty shit we have to children!
i may be considered the younger bunch of AA.com'ers (nearly 17)
but even when i was a kid the rules went that the kid who swallows too many marbles doesnt grow up to have children of their own. survival of the fittest. How do you think evolution happens? it surely doesnt happen when you try to fix every natural desease and problem.. No it happens by the body having to overcome desease and having to adapt to new situations.
hell the current direction of human evolution shows that we will get weakers, along with immune systems to the point where eventually most the planet will die young and only the strong will survive.

I see we have another George Carlin fan. Very true, thinking of all the gross and stupid things I did when I was young; my immune system is tough as nails, I've never had a cold in a loooooooong time. I guess I'm a pseuido anarchist.

...you had your own opportunity to do that...but "oh no".....
you not only let her live, you allow her to prepare your food. hake:
...well, you've made your bed*, you can lie in it
(* unless your ex is still doing that for you as well )

Guys, I have a better idea... and it's called REAL TORTURE biggrin:
Take all of these death row / hardcore criminal motherfuckers, put them in
a cage and let them kill each other off by only giving them a very slight
amount of food and liquid everyday. Slowly but surely, they would croak one
by one until small factions are made. Here's the kicker: you always lower
the food quantity until there's only enough left for one person: it gets very
interesting very quickly.
Did I mention this would be televised or at least captured on tape ? evil:
However, and this is the ironic part of my post, I don't believe in the
death penalty (for reasons already posted) so unless someone is willing to
capitalize on my REALITY TV show, keep 'em caged up.

I think we had the right idea in the olden days.
theives had their hands cut off, rapists had their bits chopped off, bad criminals publicly executed to put off others - and as a form of entertainment for the crowd.
But obviously now this would go against the so god damn annoying human rights bullshit. there seems to be more laws these protecting the criminals rather than the victims.
Banishment was a good move too, kick them right of the country to an island noone really goes to. like what britian did sending people to australia, im sure we can find some islands somewhere noone really likes - how about the islands off the coast of guam that USA us as target practice for the airforce.
ohh wait, i forgot - f*cking human rights hake: cant hurt the poor defensless criminals now can we, that would be wrong.

Well heres a tidbit of information.
At http://www.golbeandmail.com there is a poll on this very topic.
Almost 70% say yes to the death penalty and 30% no. Ths comes from a country without the death penalty. Maybe a little suprising.

they haven't used that in years, unfortunately

There are still 4 states that use the Electric Chair as execution, and I THINK Washington uses hanging

Why must you always bring America into it? Are the schools in Canada that much better?

Arkan, I would hope that I am a big enough person to stick to my beliefs. The set I have come to something like that is a girl I was a coworker or was raped and murderd. The man did get life sentenc, Her father whom I met at her funeral, and kept in touch with for several years following, did not believe in the death sentence either, he was distraught over losing his daughter in such a violent act, but he still felt it was wrong to take another persons life, whether in the name of justice or not. What he did do though is every year around her birthday he would send a letter about the girl's chilhood and dreams to the prisoner. He got one reply, the man said, he was sorry and he wished he was dead.
