My girlfriends uncle says Iraq is a nice place. He was just disapointed not to have seen much of bahgdad, mind you......it was during the gulf.

I always thought that in american schools, the map of the world is a picture the US covering most of it, and then some blobs that make up the other countries stuck to the side of it somewhere. so no wonder when they were handed a real map, all these "new" countries appeared, and the US was a lot smaller, that they had trouble locating countries, even their own.

Heh. I dunno man. I would never have thought that was the right answer. I always thought it would have been an ancient religion. And considering the amount of people living in India etc, I was kind of suprised. Interesting to know.

On an Australian show called CNNN, they sent a guy over to America and asked these (among other) questions...

Q: Where was the Berlin Wall ?
American Guys Answer: Uhhhh.... ::Prolonged silence:: I'm thinkin' about it man, but seriously I have no idea...

Q: Who is in the Axis of Evil ?
American Lady's answer: Hmm... Uhhm... Germany ?? And err, Florida ??

Christianity isn't that old when compared to other religions. Christians believe that Jesus who was jewish created the religion known today as Christianity. Therefore the religion is only 2000 years old.

Buddhism and Hinduism are much much older than Christianity.

Where do Jews come in then? If Christians elaborated the Jewish religon 2,000 years ago....Then Jews must have been around for a fair bit longer.

I always thought Jewism (Is that the correct term?) was a basic form of christianity.

BTW, Ninty, you're right on the original point I made, I'm not attempting to pry into your brain here....I'm just ignorant about this kind of stuff. freak:
