i downloaded a couple of their songs. Ive heard of slum village. they came out with a new song recently. Anyways, have you ever heard of Mobb Deep? Their sound is similar to A tribe called Quest. They are my favorite rappers. some of their songs are lame though. Where I live is a real hot spot for up and comming hip-hop/R&b. I live in Decatur (aboout a mile east of Atlanta) Outkast-ludacris-lil jon-jagged edge-pastor troy-archie-usher and a few more are from here. Outkast has a song called Decatur Psalms, its like the theme song for my school. And ghetto mafia has a song called in decatur. If you listen to ludacris and lil jon and pastor troy or archie they always have a sentence about decatur in all of their songs. If anyone listens to rap-im sure they have heard of decatur. A new group to be on the look out for is "the kill commitee". they are new and from the Dec. anyways-i just wanted to reccomend mobb deep to you (if you havnet already heard of them.) do you have Kazaa or anything?

Mispelled looks right, but it isn't according to [url=http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=misspell&r=3:a70ef]this.[/url:a70ef] You had me second guessing myself for a second there...

Nah, he's just an example, of the new millenium's breed of over pop-cultured, text messaging ignoranti's.

Hip-Hop is my favourite genre at the moment...I have 2,500 HipHop Mp3s in my collection.
Yeah, I know Mobb Deep, I'm a fan of Prodigy (Member of Mobb Deep) In all honesty though, I personally don't think they sound any thing like Tribe...They have more of a dark, gangster-rap style, whereas Tribe has a True School/Old School spirited type of sound.
I'm not really a fan of Gangster Rap, although I do have a lot of Mp3s from groups in that genre...It's not really my bag though, only Gangster Rap groups I really listen too are Gang Starr, Big L, and Wu-Tang...I tend to listen to the True School and Old School sound a lot more...
Artists like:
Talib Kweli & Mos Def (BlackStar)
Slum Village
Pete Rock's stuff....I'm a big fan of his early 90's duo with CL Smooth.
Main Source
Lone Catalysts (J.Rawls & J.Sands)
J-Live
MHz
K-Otix
Hieroglyphics
Grand Agent
Encore
Five Deez
De La Soul
Pharcyde
Blackalicious
Brand Nubian
Beatnuts
All Natural
Artifacts
And heaps more like that....
Yeah, I use Kazza.
