I'm in for the classics team.

Also on a side note about the server I can host one from my home. I got a super fast cable 3 times faster than normal cable. I have hosted 12 players before and pings were all below 100 or just above 100. I can make it nice and private for us. Also will there be any realism mod while we play?

That's what i'm hoping for. I'd like to put a realism mod in there. And, the mod won't be no pistol bullets crap...regular realism.

Also, i need to know if everyone has Spearhead. There are a couple good maps in sprearhead for sniping. If everyone has it, great. If not, we'll have to play normal MOHAA.

1) Where will it be held? --Captain Noctis Aeternus offered his server
2) What maps
3) When

Sounds good, speak with ChickenBoo or Cyberdoc, they might be willing to let us use the server for a 1/2 - 1 hour or so.

You should do Allied Assault for a few reaons:

First off, a lot of people dislike Spearhead with an intense passion. Such as myself. EA really took a good thing and shot it into the ground.

Secondly, not everyone has Spearhead.

Thirdly, my server is set up to run AA =P

Also, I wish you would consider Classic, and not realism. If you are truly seeking to settle an issue, you should go with the stock game. That way no one can complain about the realism mods.

Team sizes should not grow too large, or the point could also be lost. It places the "conservatives" with a distinct disadvantage if you have more than 4-6 people per team. They are trying to stay put, and when they fire there are 6 other snipers laying in wait. They may relocate, but most MoH maps have few exit routes. Leaving them immediately vulnerable and unable to switch tactics.

Will the games be TDM or round-based?

Adding camo skins is no problem, but they should be agreed upon by all participants.

And finally, who would be interested in turning this into a tournament? Of course there are the pre-constructed "All Star" teams, for each side (I'll join up with the New Age, for the sake of making things even). But what about having some 2v2 matches or something to that effect? If anyone is good (and quick) with web design, we could get a crude info site going, post matches and wins, etc. We could also do this leading up to the final bout between "conservatives" and "new age," since it will be some time before that match.

Yes, I would recommend MOH too, simply due to the fact no overweighs on the sniper rifle. They both carry 5 rounds, bolt action.

May I suggest that you compile a list of alternates, in case the teams you have cannot make it or someone has to drop out. I'll be here(barring any crazy circumstances), I can't speak for everyone else. biggrin:

Those are the teams so far. It's settled taht we will have sub-teams since there are soo many people. We'll do team picking once we get a final roster. As for MOHAA or Spearhead, i do agree that we need MOHAA. I was thinking that we would have an old fashion TDM or you can have ROUND if you want. Majority of the people rule.

yeah, that's what i was thinking.....i'm gonna make a deadline/cut-off date. The teams now look pretty good. We just need another New Ager and we'll leave it at that. Large teams of 8 that will be broken up into teams of 4.
