yeah, I'd have to agree with that. Modern ships, like the Canadian Halifax class frigates are much more advanced. The Halifax's can do the same as battleships using their Bofors (I think I spelt that right) with respect to providing artillery support for seaborne assaults. They are also much faster and more manuverable than the larger, bulky battleships.[/quote:e6bf9]

No, but the bofors are automatics, and the bofors on the Canadian frigates are acctully 57mm.

That's what Chaff, .50 cal. MGs, and a 20mm CWIS area for, stopping rockets and other things that might put holes in your hull.

i don't think the point of an iowa BB is shooting rockets evil:

too bad anything above a pt boat just gets a missile in it these days anyway. what's the fun in letting a computer do all the killing?
