I saw this sweet Classic Army MP5A3 on eBay, retractable stock, working tactical light, optical sights, it looked exactly like the real thing *drools*

If they shoot pellets, then what does that M249 SAW shoot? I saw a damn ammo can and belt feeding into it, looks real enough to me! heh

Is it true in the US you have to have the orange paint on the front to tell if it isnt real? I read that on a site and the orange paint makes it look really crappy.

well about 5% has come off just from setting it against the wall
on the m4 the flash supressor is all orange which sucks, thompson is only the end of the barrel so that's easiest. you could always try duct tape, would look stupid up close but can rip it off when the cops come evil:

Use paint thinner. Or you can usually buy a replacement part without the paint.

Orange tips in the UK are only needed on toy guns. You dont need orange tips on airsoft guns here as airsoft guns are only allowed to be used in official airsoft grounds. Its illegal to have it visible in public, and will result in it being confiscated, fined, and in the extreme case, armed police will point real guns at you.
Scary thought in the UK.......everyday life in america i suppose.
Of course, a couple of kids were killed a while ago by mis-using BB guns in their house, and now the stupid parent protestors want ALL air guns banned from the UK.
someone always has to ruin it for the genuin people who take airsoft seriously and enjoy it as a hobby. hake:
