The Stinger is a substitute weapon, meaning you still have the AT-4 too. It's just another weapon the Anti-Tank has.

k, today i had much better luck. i used the aus gamer mirror this time ..and i connected at 180kbs got it dl in 16 minutes biggrin: i just played lost village map for about an hour..on several servers. great map! only vehicle in it is blackhawk helo for us..none for iraq! which is cool! too many vehicles in bf imo. ok, so the map is nice. however, all i saw was constant complaining about the stinger...and after about 20 mins..i must agree. this is way too powerful, you can barely fly helo's anymore

the rpg was fine imo, now all it takes is 2 soldiers with stingers and the helo is down...hell sometimes 1 soldier can do it! also, a bunch of ppl were complaining about the weapons being way to powerful, i kinda like it though. its almost 1 hit kills which is kinda nice

same here Sargent, i could shoot down passing planes and helis. I love shooting down Blackhawks, whenever i do it, i always go "We got a blackhawk down! We got a blackhawk down!

I've heard people complain about the BH's minigun in Lost Village. The map really depends on teamwork, and cooperation between troops on the ground and pilots in the BH's to succesfully take the village.

More than that, 1/2 the people playing it are complaining of crashes in the middle of playing.

I must admin though, this version looks excellent, alot like the game was made all on it's own.

Is it just me or is the hind impossible to down with the stinger. I've landed 2 direct hits only to be spammed to hell by everything the hind had strapped to it. planes are one shot one kill but the fucking hind just wont go down, i hit it with the smaw and it dropped no problem.

PS. It just wont go down in multiplayer, single player it will down in one hit. I've hit it in the belly, the cockpit, the tail, the engines damn near everywhere and it still wont down in multi.

iv hit the hind 3! yes 3 fucking times! & it still dint go down! i finally i said screw it & shot it down with my trusty rocket. I wish you had a small radar thing with the stinger too.

The explosion effect is client-side, and may not reflect actual hits detected by the server.

Well that blows ass. Dosnt really sound right... if it hits on my end, shouldnt that register on the server... Considering thats the only way to kill something in multiplayer.

i would fly the helicopters more often but there so damn hard to use... I think they are atleast...

this one guy i was playing with used the helicopter like spreading whipcream on icecream....that easy....
i was in the helicopter with him gunning down people it was a classic biggrin:
