[quote="~^No0bAnIzEr^~":5b469]There werent two guys, and there was OBVIOUSLY a cheat, because he fired 2 rockets in about 3/4 of a second!and i didnt even hear one rocket reloading hake:[/quote:5b469]
That's no cheat and it's impossible to make a cheat that does what you describe without allowing everyone else on the server to do the same with the bazooka.
It's called a server-side mod as has been pointed out to you on a couple of occasions.
It is not a cheat it's just an alteration of that weapon.
I bet you didn't try the bazooka yourself, did you?

Well explained, thanks.
Now I think I may have encountered it, you mentioning Stalingrad and the snap-to-target effect made me remind of some battle where this guy did something similar. I was very surprised to say the least.
Powerful cheat, then. That aimbot you are talking about, it hasn't been around until recently, has it? Because lately, I have seen some people with a well above average aim. Suspected them of using an aimbot, but since I thought it was still nonexistent for MoHAA I just thought they were good players, or my performance sucked...

Powerful to a degree. Pro-cheaters will tell you that it makes them god-like, but it's not that amazing, especially with below average players.
All it does is bring an average player's aim up to the standards of an above average player. It won't help them avoid bullets.
And it's easilly spotted. Much more so than cham skins.

When I say "snap-to-target" I mean when an enemy appears in the preset FOV (field of vision - there's a cvar that you can alter for the bot that changes the angle at which the bot will aim at... So far as I know it cannot aim behind you, but I've never tested it) the cheater's aim will snap to that enemy.
The cheater can choose auto-fire (bot shoots for you with burst fire presets and variables) or they can shoot manually.
But, the snap-to effect gives them away. If they emerge around a corner and are facing 45 degrees+ from you, or perhaps even looking up, or down, as soon as you appear in their FOV they will aim at you immediately.
There is no "swing" of the aim. Even a player with very good reflexes will swing their aim sometimes.
A person using this bot will never do this. It's very obvious on verticle maps (Stalingrad for example).
I recently saw a player who was on the ground in Stalingrad and was firing upwards and to his left. I approached from his right and as soon as I saw him his aim instantly switched to me. That's a 90 degree turn with a pitch angle change of about 145 degrees in a split second, instantly hitting me.
Obvious.
Granted, some of the cheaters who are serious about what they do and want to actually seem "cool" and not just a sad kid will attempt to hide these cheats.
Until a cvar enabling "swing" auto-aim is introduced then this will never be possible for aimbots. And, if this cvar is introduced then you may as well just learn to aim yourself because it will seriously fuck up your own aiming in tight situations, especially when you really need to switch your aim quickly.
|
Alas, if you jack the FOV up to 360 it spins around for you.

I get so fed up with being accused of cheating I will tend to just cuss them back and tell them they suck, but I don't cheat so your theory is a little shakey.
You can't catch a cheater by the way they talk. A lot of cheaters will keep quiet, a lot of cheaters will deny it and get all pissy.
But then a lot of non cheaters will stay quiet and a lot of non cheaters will deny it and get all pissy, too.
So, that stands for little.
Also, whoever is responsible for this site please please I am begging you for the love of all that is good remove those stupid anal emotes and replace them with normal ones.

True, but I have noticed that many guys that talk a lot of smack are in fact cheating. It may only be because that is how they got my attention. Dunno, but if someone is 24-3 and talking smack, my money is on him cheating. Its not proof, but its suspicious. Players that are good enough to go 24-3 without cheating have been there before and they know how to act. Lets just say its a pretty good indicator.

gerards seen this situation happen with me alot. im like 20-2 30-4 whatever, and some guy starts calling me cheats and shit. what am i suppose to do sit there and jack off? of course im gonna start talking shit to him. or sometimes i will just start saying shit if i dont like someone in the server. when i have a score like that it gives me the right to say "hey guess waht. u suck. fuck u. die" gerard would know what imt alking about, he gets a kick out of it whenever i do it. score doesnt really mean jack shit
theres no sure way to spot cheaters that are good at hiding what they use. simple fact is, if they u think they are cheating... challenge them to a pandora match 1 on 1.
