Ok yes The Sex Pistols and the clash are full out Punk bands. But notice what I said. Modern punk 1990-present day. And April 26, 1992 is an awsome song.

I hate old/new punk too. I'm not sure if you consider hardcore as punk or not but since it did come from punk I'll leave a few good bands to check out.
