The Strokes are talented.
I needed a break from metal.[/quote:47a15]
i used to love metal....metallica, iron maiden, iced earth, in flames.....things got too repetitive, so i got into progressive, fusion, and jazz...i still love metal though. Dream Theater covers it all, most talented musicians in one band, its truly amazing....new cd comes out in 3 days, im so excited.

Ive gotten into all types of metal its good stuff and if you find good types youll never run out, some of my favs are
Metallica
Megadeth
Anthrax
Slayer
Iron Maiden
Helloween
Dream Theater
In flames
Iced earth
Black Sabbath
Pantera
Old Arch Enemy
All of ygnwies songs would be awsome if they were more like " rock: I am a viking"
Theres enough styles there to keep me quite busy, but dream theater has something special since they are so incredably progressive and add an unseen element to metal.

Saw Les Claypool in concert here. He was wicked crazy on that bass. I was actually skeptical about how good a concert based around a bass player could be, but I stand corrected.
