I went four and a half days with no sleep.
Halfway through the fourth day I started hallucinating and hearing things and I would just break down and cry for no reason. I fell down the steps and passed out.

I'm sure SEALS do a lot more than 2 nights. When I was on basic in Wanewright we did from 5am Monday to 9am Friday. Thats 100 hours. Everyone was hallucinating. I thought I was seeing people jumping up ad down in a field, and it was total de-ja-veu. I was so sleep fucked I could have sworn I was in the same exact place watching the same exact "non existent" soldiers jumping up and down sometimew earlier in my life.

4½ days for my final studio project during my senior year of undergrad school. The key is to eat well, and drink plenty of water. Its much easier to do when you have a task at hand. You just gotta stay focused.

[quote="Fluffy_Bunny":97bd6]Why were you guys awake for that long? I was on an army exercise thing.[/quote:97bd6]
At the time, I just didn't feel like resting so I went about as normally as I
could but things have a way of going apeshit pretty fast, as I've noticed ;-)

I hope you mean hours. I believe you die after 17 days of no sleep. Your body needs sleep to recuperate and after 17 days your far enoug hbehind that your body cant catch up and it shuts down permanently. One of my teachers whos in the AF told us this. He said they found out during toture etc. not sure if its 100% correct but can you find someone who has gone that long without 1 second of sleep?[/quote:23543]
Actually there's this one lady, (not sure if she still alive) that has not slept in years because she just is not capable of it. Kinda weird but eh.
I myself got only 3 days.
