Enter Sandman = By far the worst song Metallica ever wrote. Actually, they stole it from another band. I forget the name; Gonzo knows it, I think. The Black Album was total shit. Compare it to Ride The Lightning, or Master Of Puppets, or Kill 'Em All, or ..And Justice For All is nice if you have the 29 hours necessary to listen to it all in one sitting. There were some great albums. Then the Black Album came, and they gradually started selling out. The simple arrangements, the lack of solos, and the overall simplicity of the songs took away from the band. Compare it to their old stuff, and you'll watch the Black Album become total shit. I'm not going to suck the Beatles' dick and say everything they ever came out with was amazing (see: The White Album), nor am I trying to say that everything Metallica ever came out with sucked. That's not the case at all. I'm just saying, the Black Album sucked. Garage Inc. sucked. Load sucked. ReLoad sucked. Metallica died with Cliff.
