You paid about 800$ for the FX53 when you could've just overclocked and
properly cooled an A64 3400+ for half the price. Seriously, that was almost
all profit for Alienware. What I mean is, you could have easily paid half for
the PC if you had shopped around a bit...

If you don;t know how to build a pc alienware, falcon and voodoo are good makes (i mean who the fuck would reccomend packard bell for a gaming pc oOo: ) . If you do however then you can usually build the same spec for far less, the whole price increase for alienware is for tech support, the custom case and basically paying for the name.
2gb of ram though oOo: Unless you're doing 3d apps or like 80 tga's open in photoshop thats just for bragging rights and has no practical application.
Whats that under the floppy drive in pic 9? Looks like either fan speed controls or usb connectors?

How in hell did he do that for 700 ? He must've had hot stuff, if you catch
my drift. If not, tell me where the **ck he shops man, because I paid
almost twice that... and I looked around. Of course, that was 3 months ago...

well i already know how to build my own pc, i had my own that i built for 2-3 years. i know i could have got this for cheaper, but there is no way in fucking hell you could do it for less then 1,500. the cpu alone costs $800 from almost any shop i've seen in person, or on the internet. and the RAM would also cost around $300-400. also, if i have a job, dont have anything else to do with my money..what is the big problem with me spending my money the way i wish? because like i said, my dad didnt buy this whole thing, i paid half. and jotun, when i get that x800 xt...ill prove it to you that you cannot do the same thing as what i got. id like to see what scores you get on 3d mark 03? and i personally like bigger cases, and i think the alienware cases look sick.

3500 = 4k + Canadian. THat would = at the local parts retailer
A nice turbo, NEw Agressive ECU, Exasut system, Cool AIr, Cyclone feul intake spinner, complete redone interior, window tint, NOS kit/ Nitrous Express kit, new drivetain, maybe suspension...the list goes one my god man, you chose a Black PC over well... anything... I would have at least saved it. I could have used that 4 grand and brought my car up to 320 + HP easily. I just find it hard to justify such a purpose... really. Its very nice, but I find it hard to rationalize.
