That is because the CFL and NFL are two VERY different games. The CFL is much more reliant on the aerial game, while the NFL tends to concentrate more on running.
Also a wider field allows for more open throwing and thus more room for receivers to run.
Also the players in the CFL are smaller. There is a restriction on the number of imports that can be on a team so the rest of them have to be Canadian. Those Canadians are trained and built up differently to play the Canadian game and not the American game.
If the two games were exactly the same in rules and Doug Flutie was average in the NFL, then yes i'd say that the NFL has more tallent and such, however, since the games have a lot of differences, I don't think its safe to compare.
Which one you like probably has to do with where you live.
Thus for me CFL>NFL.

Oh yeah, like it was said, the NFL has millions of Dollars involved. IN Canada...not so much. therefore there is more competition to get into the NFL than the CFL. The NFL would be more of a draw to potential players.

i have to agree the REAL football (soccer) owns every other sport, however college sports own all.
