If done right a halo movie could be pretty good, theres books and all that kind of stuff on halo so it has more of a story to it than just two games. Though knowing hollywood and their way of gayifying things masterchief woud probably fall in love with a female cyborg. oOo:

I also think that whoever played masterchief would be upstaged if Ed Harris and Samual L Jackson did have roles in the movie. Hes the focal point in the games but movies usually have a way of messing with this formula.

If gates and microsoft wanted to financially back this movie it could kick all kinds of ass, its raking in the cash as a game, if done right it would do the same as a movie.

True but as somebody said, I think Cap. Keyes would be played better by Harrison Ford. Sure, Ed Harris is great but I think Ford is just perfect for the part.

Bad idea. What video game movie has ever been any good out of the countless shite ones? Tomb Raider was the closest and even that sucked. The only reason any one even watched it was because Angelina Jolie is hot.

This is just going to blow up in everyones face. Hopefully Ridley Scott can work some magic though.
