Something about Michael always rings gay in my mind. Maybe its that Franz Ferdinand song, about Michael...and made me discover that the band was composed by a bunch of homosexuals.[/quote:f2dec]
oOo: and this is coming from a desperate 13 year old who jerks it daily[/quote:f2dec]

Why, yes, it is...whats so strange about it? (Turned 14 a week ago, by the way)

Rofl..nice article. The band was an expiriment for me...so many good reviews I was just kinda obligated to pick it up. Some songs I liked, most of them were pretty ghey. Thats including Michael, no pun intended. The song makes me puke.

ROFL. I saw Franz Ferdinand back in June at the Avalon...this was just when Take Me Out started getting airtime. It was a good show, all the girls around me were going nuts for the lead singer. I was just kinda like "eh." and more listening to the music than anything, and trying not to get pushed around too much. For one of my first shows, it was pretty good. They have a crapload of energy.

And, the drummer has a wife, doesn't he?

[quote:7055b]When lead singer Alex Kapranos pants, "Come and dance with me, Michael," he shoots his darts of pleasure through your heart. Live, he's been known to change the chorus to "Come all over me, Michael," but it's a seductive song either way.[/quote:7055b]
He did change it to that, I was grossed out.

btw, Michael is a great song. I like dancing to it and singing like a spaz when no one's home.

lol, well, maybe I gotta give it a second listen. The songs I hear on the radio, like Take Me Out, I think are utter crap, and the worst songs on the album. I dont get why they play that "Holiday" song..thats my favorite, for sure.

The "Holiday" song is called Jaqueline. It's kinda boring in the beginning, but then gets cool around a minute or two. It's featured in a car commerical, i can't remember which though.

My favorite is Micheal, it's so fun.

This is where I'll be so heavenly,
so come and dance with me Michael
So sexy, I'm sexy,
so come and dance with me Michael
I'm all that you see, you wanna see,
so come and dance with me Michael
So close now, so close now,
so come and dance with me, so come and dance with me, so come and dance

with me

Michael,
you're the boy with all the leather hips,
sticky hair, sticky hips, stubble on my sticky lips

Michael,
you're the only one I'd ever want
only one I'd ever want
only one I'd ever want
Beautiful boys on a beautiful dancefloor

Michael,
you're dancing like a beautiful dance whore
Michael,
waiting on a silver platter now ... and nothing matters now

This is what I am, I am a man
so come and dance with me Michael
So strong now, its strong now
so come and dance with me Michael
I'm all that you see, you wanna see
so come and dance with me Michael
So close now, its close now,
so come and dance with me, so come and dance with me, so come all over me

Michael,
you're the boy with all the leather hips,
sticky hair, sticky hips, stubble on my sticky lips

Michael,
you're the only one I'd ever want
only one I'd ever want
only one I'd ever want
Beautiful boys on a beautiful dancefloor

Michael,
you're dancing like a beautiful dance whore
Michael,
waiting on a silver platter now ... and nothing matters now

Michael,
you're the only one I'd ever want
only one I'd ever want
only one I'd ever want
(twice)

Beautiful boys on a beautiful dancefloor
Michael,
you're dancing like a beautiful dance whore
Michael, waiting on a silver platter now, nothing matters now, nothing
Matters now

....Im still convinced.

I know the lyrics dude. I like the song. It has a good beat, it's fun to dance to. Who cares what the orientation is? That's the whole point of the band, to make people like you confused out of their minds because you don't get their "art of gender neutral music". or something like that.
