Im not referring to the whole country, like anywhere else america has its fair share of shithole neighborhoods where bullets go flying on a daily basis and on average more miles are clocked up by bullets than cars. Just the "ease" of availability of guns in the us means the problem seems more exagerrated than it would be otherwise.

Canadian gun laws id assume are like uk ones? Over here owning a gun requires a big metal box to keep it in, really small calibre rifles and shotguns are allowed here and not much else. Usually culchies getting them for farms, thats about it really.

Pretty much, you need to get a gun locker, trigger locks, a valid FAC, and every firearm you purchase is to be registered.

No one has ever proven to me why anybody would need a gun that can shoots bullets really quickly. Stick to handguns or something if you really need to own a gun.

have you ever gone out shooting? It can be a fun and safe sport. Ripping off a 30 round mag is a blast. Who says handguns fire slower than a semiauto rifle? You dont have any knowelge about what you talking about.
