i unno man, its just like....why dont you like intel? and I know your gonna just say "cause amd is better"....well that may be so for the time being. But you should know (as do ALL gamers) that technology changes, and there is NEVER a #1 company, for CPU's, GPU's, Etc....I mean it always evolves. So, you are pretty much forced to choose a side...I chose Intel, never had any good experiences with AMD, always have with Intel, so thats just me man. As I am sure there is a good reason why you choose AMD instead of Intel. Not going to trash amd, or ATI, I am sure they are both great! ...they just not for me. Its intel and nvidia.

sorry.
But there are people on this forum that know their stuff! If they say AMD is better for gaming - they are not telling lies just to try and get someone to choose their favourite cpu manufacturer. It means that they actually work in the industry and know what they are talking about. Some of these guys have YEARS of knowledge and experience. Listen to them.[/quote:f96f7]
How can you possibly say that? What you just wrote makes no sense. If someone here (such as akuma) is strong for AMD, he will go for amd, he wont ever say that Intel is better....and likewise. I wont ever say AMD is better cause I like Intel. Also, what makes you think that just because they have some kind of experience, that makes THEM correct, and myself incorrect? Sure I listen to them, but I wont just get an AMD cause they have "YEARS of experience", what leads you to believe that I dont have the same if not MORE amount of experience as they do? I asked for advice, but if I am not going to choose AMD or ATI, why keep at it? Its a choice I made. Its like saying that if a rep from AMD and a rep from Intel came in here to say which is better, you allready know the outcome from the two. One is strong for one, and the other is strong for the other. If you wanted the benchmarks, and you wanted the comparisons, sure go to http://www.tomshardware.com and look it up. You will see that AMD is on top...AT THE MOMENT, but thats how it is....its an AT THE MOMENT kind of thing when you deal with technology, its ever-changing. So what it all comes down to is, I like Intel and Nvidia, you guys seem strong for AMD and ATI, thats fine...not trying to force my ways on anyone, was only asking for advice on how to better build a Intel and Nvidia based gaming rig, nothing more. And yes I am a hard ass and I will not change my preferences towards ATI and AMD.
