And why is that? It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that western governments have fucked with them and their countries for years? If you slap a dog on the nose again and again, sooner or later it's going to bite. We are getting our "just desserts".

I would never say innocent civilians are getting "just desserts" for centuries of western influence int he middle east, but you have the right idea.

to compare WWII bombings to these terrorist attacks is completly absurd. It shows the intelict of the person posting it.
I agree that when Pyro fucks up a thread with his stupid and baiting comments and then the thread gets locked is wrong. Why not ban the asshole and delete his portion of the thread? Every thread he posts in is just to bait us Americans into an verbal war with the Canadians that post here.
Most of the poeple that post add to the thread but it only takes 1 asshole to lock it.

Pyro, I am so glad your warped views are not the common feeling of Canadians but sometimes its real hard not to sink to your level and bash our friends to the north

Hows a ww2 bombing a terrorist act? A state of war had been declared since long before england got bombed in ww2.

[quote:486c5]The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.[/quote:486c5]

That fits the bill of "surrender or we'll nuke you".

So basically by that retarded definition any war that has ever taken place was nothing more than terrorism? oOo:

Id assume that definition doesn't include a state of war. Terrorism usually implies something out of the blue an attack with no warning, if thers a state of war then the attack can take place at any time, since the state of war exists its not exactly unexpected if you do get the fuck bombed outta you.

thats what you get using a generic online dictionary...
terror is defined by M-W as "a state of intense fear", terror-ism is self explanatory through that. Quit trying to weasle out of it, terrorism is not the apporopriate word to describe what we did in Japan..

1. It is a lawful use of force during a war
2. the intentions were tactical, not political or idealogical

I agree his opinions are just as valid as mine or anyone elses but the constant baiting is not an opinion. Its just him trying to start an arguement and his attempt to get yet another thread locked

fact: abombing hiroshima and nagasaki saved more lives, japanese and american, than continuing the war with conventional tactics. HAd we not bombed, we would have been forced to invade, and more death all around. plus, the japanese military killed more japanese citizens than the a bombs did. The mass suicides were forced by the military. Read "Flyboys" for more info.
