Thats a shame Arkan, it reminded me of our Milkman a few years back, he'd always seemed so friendly and nice, which he was and then all of a sudden we found one day he'd hung himself.....totally out of the blue...its always whats on the inside that matters, its the root of most things in my opinion.

Hope everything goes ok for you and of course his family in the long run.

And I don't see how Duffy should be allowed to get away with this kind of thing, just ban him outright and watch him crawl back under a new screename, is it really that tough a decision?

Well, first and foremost, RIP to your friend. The why is a bit harder. I suppose there are a lot of reasons. As some said, possibly a non-evident mental disorder.

It could also be, that his family/parents weren't too great to him as he was growing up, and he got freaked out when he thought to himself, what if I ever do something like that to my kids? I know some people are just overstressed, and want to just do something, anything about it. They put on a happy face for family and friends, but when they leave, the stress/worry all comes back.

And possibly, he is just afraid of, well life....With all the shit going on/happening in the world, to some people, suicide might feel like a welcome option. I'm sorry I am not of any more help, and I wish you, your family, and his family luck with coping with such a loss. I am truly sorry.

Trunks, i'm thinking along those same lines.

Anyhow, pretty shitty day with the wake. Around 400 people showed up and it was very emotional. To see his 2 oldest daughters (8 and 5) crying kinda tugged at my heart. Thank goodness it was a closed casket. My brother wrote a 2 page letter that he wanted to read but knew he'd have trouble so he asked for me to read it. It was the hardest speech i had to do but suprisingly, i got through it ok. It's just been a shitty day really. My heart goes out to his family.

RIP Steve, you will be missed my friend.
