Yes. Technically, we are still in the latter stages of the last ice age. Its a natural cycle. Also, its still snowing here in Germany. It was too fucking cold not to wear a coat last week. In April.

I'm not sold on global wwarming being a result of human intervention on the planet. It is conceivable to me that it is a cycle.

Even so, I do recgonize temperatures have been rising which in turn create a bit of a sticky situation. There is concern for global warming. It should be taken seriously no matter what is to blame for it happening.

I remember Roosevelt, one of America's greatest presidents, said in a speech that if corporations were having a say in governmental affairs the state would move to facism. Can't remember were I read or saw that.

and the only reason we think this is the problem is because of the generations before us...they didn't fix it...why should we?

Any democratic capitalist society is first world. Basically Canada, US,Western Europe Australia and New Zealand.
