Brampton

That about sums it up.
anyways...we're part of the best area in the world...the Greater toronto Area...our population is like...almost 400,000 now...Toronto itself is around 3 million. We get no tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, floods, earthquakes, hell even no blizzards anymore. We are like...in terms of nature...Gods perfect haven. Parks and Recreation is definally above average...it is what brampton excels at...though it was better when less people lived here...before the paki takeover.
Everything else i go to toronto for...sport teams...nightlife (kills ottawa...but it's toronto...all the best shit has to be here...only montreal can compare in canada anyways)
oh ya...we have government housing for the blacks and tyhats where all the violence usually happens with the wannabe crips and bloods.

I've been to Toronto a couple of times and it was alright. The thing that drove me insane was the crippling traffic! It took forever to get anywhere.
I s'pose you get used to that after a while.
Oh and... Montreal > Toronto
Easily.

it's ok. It has everything your average city has including restaurants, movies theathre, shopping malls, outlets, fitness centers and everything. Pretty diverse here and i love that part because where i moved from there were only one group of ppl that were there and that shit gets very old after a while. One needs to see other groups of people in the area from time to time. Not much violence but the people are somewhat unfriendly especially when speaking to them "hi are you? reply........."

[url:3355b]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auckland[/url:3355b]
I live smack-dab in the middle of Central Auckland - Auckland's population is over 1.2 million, making it by far the largest city in New Zealand, with approaching one third of the country's entire population.
I like where I live....It's relatively nice, crime isn't too bad - It's frequently rated as one of the best cities to live in the world in heaps of those top 100s...
One thing I've always liked about Auckland is that its one of the only cities in the world that is bicoastal. If you're a surfer, this is your city. You get to choose from East Coast or West Coast.
A few interesting facts...
[quote:3355b]Auckland straddles the volcanoes of the Auckland Volcanic Field. The 50 volcanic vents in the field take the form of cones, lakes, lagoons, islands and depressions, and several have produced extensive lava flows. Most of the cones have been partly or completely quarried away. The volcanoes are all individually extinct although the volcanic field itself is merely dormant.[/quote:3355b]
[quote:3355b]Auckland serves as a home to many cultures. The majority of inhabitants claim European — predominantly British — descent, but substantial Māori, Pacific Islander and Asian communities exist as well. Auckland has the largest Polynesian population of any city in the world. A large proportion of the population is also made up of people of Asian origin (mainly East Asian and South Asian). This is due to New Zealand's world-leading level of immigration, which flows primarily into Auckland. Ethnic groups from all corners of the world have a presence in Auckland, making it by far the country's most cosmopolitan city. It is estimated that over 14 people from other countries immigrate to Auckland every day.[/quote:3355b]
I live in an area that is full of somalis, indians, asians and pacific islanders....In a few of the schools i've been to in my life I've been the minority which I'm glad about because I feel I now have a greater acceptance of, and an interest in, other cultures.
Apparently, according to wikipedia - These are Auckland's sister cities..:
* Los Angeles, United States
* Brisbane, Australia
* Guangzhou, the People's Republic of China
* Fukuoka, Japan
* Busan, South Korea
...L.A I agree with, mainly because of the way both cities spreadout.

lol?
There aren't many terrorists here. I can't see it as the best place to launch an attack from, unless it was to Australia, but then Indonesia would be a far better place to attack from....We're just way too isolated.

L.A. is shite.
Frederiskburg ftw, we are 1 hour from Richmond and DC. Looks like any other place in the North East. And its boring with no coast, only mountains an hour west. The beach is 2 hours east.

I liked it when I visited - Although I was alot younger...It doesn't share many similarities outside of it being the major coastal, spread-out cosmopolitan city in its area...

EASTON, PA was the richest city in America all the way up till the Railroad construction boom in the mid/late 1800's. It was supposed to be the New York of America, but the railroads pushed things out. George Washington and a bunch of other big political men stayed in Easton as they traveled to Philadelphia. Easton was the 2nd place the Declaration of Independence was publically read at. We host the national canal museum oOo: , Crayola Crayon factory. The highschool has 3,200 students in it with a large group of Puerto Ricans, African Americans, and Whites. In the inner city part of Easton, gang activity is high. Many kids that get expelled from their schools in the Bronx or other NY city areas get sent to our district for some reason. There usually are 1 or 2 deaths a year of highschool students caused by fatal crashes that involve alcohol...one of the reasons why I've stayed away from it. We have Lafayette College in our town that is considered one of the best private/smaller schools in the nation. Uh, there's A LOT of tradition involved in the town. Every Thankgiving day there is a highschool football rivalry with Philipsburg, NJ. It's the oldest high school football rivalry in the nation and has been televised on ESPN and ESPN2 a few times. People from all over the country come to see it in Lafayette's stadium. You have 85 year old men cheering for the team that they played on back in highschool. Pretty neat if you ask me. The highschool is in the top 100 schools for Music (including private schools as well). There is a dense inner city and then has branches of suburbs that include Palmer Township, Forks Township, Southside, College Hill, and Stone's Crossing. It's a nice place to grow up
